Heating Systems
Our Heating Systems include:
High Efficiency Forced Air – These systems are cost-efficient, affordable to build, zonal, and capable of heating an entire area. Keep in mind, these systems may cause uneven temperature fluctuations from one floor to the next. If the ducting is undersized, the system will work harder than necessary.
Hybrid Systems – Also known as Duel Fuel Systems. These systems build upon the standard Forced Air Heating System. In addition, a heat pump is added. Hybrid systems are energy efficient and convenient to install in most situations. The system requires a substantial upfront cost. During the colder months, the heat pumps tend to underperform. Fortunately, the system uses a backup furnace for such an event.
Radiant Heating – Utilizes a boiler, which heats water that passes through narrow gouge plastic piping. The result is uniform heating, less maintenance, reduced noise, lack of positive pressure, and is non - allergenic. Installation may be costly. If the building is completed, the old flooring would have to be pulled up. Possibility of leakage exists. Another thought to consider is the difficulty of accessing for repairs.
Heat Pumps/ Geothermal – For over six decades homes have been heated and cooled using Geothermal Energy. These systems use heat from below the surface of the Earth. Underground pipes circulate water which becomes heated in the process. This water then flows to the indoor heat pump. Expect significant savings. Geothermal Systems work well in most areas. As a bonus, the Geothermal wells remain permanent installations. Repairs are not likely, but they can be quite expensive.

Cooling
When you need a cooling system, we have the knowledge, skills and experience to help you select the best model .
High Seer – Equipment rated as such is more efficient. High Seer equipment provides for a more comfortable environment. Reduced humidity is a bonus. High Seer equipment uses less energy, and certain manufacturer and government rebates may apply. High Seer rated equipment typically costs more than their counter parts. This fact is offset by the lower annual operating costs of the higher rated equipment. The difference in cost is equated in due time.
Custom Duct Systems – These systems are tailor-made for your home. The result is increased airflow. This equates to less adjustments of the thermostat in cold and hot weather. One can expect a comfortably heated and cooled home. These systems may take more time to design and install. This fact is illustrated in their higher price.
Mini-Splits – Optimal for cooling specific rooms. They have a compact size and are effective when one does not want to cool an entire home. They help to secure one’s home, as they require only a small hole, in comparison to window mounted A.C. units. These systems tend to be more costly than central heating systems.
Forced Air Systems
We have several types of forced air systems to meet your needs:
High Efficiency Forced Air – These systems are a cost-efficient, affordable option. Forced Air allows zoning and Indoor Air Quality Product options.

Indoor Air Quality Products
We offer and install many types of Indoor Air Quality Products, including:
I.Q. Air Perfect 16 Whole House Air Purifier
"The I.Q. Air Perfect 16 is integrated into your HVAC system. All the air in your home is filtered, and clean air is delivered via your existing supply ductwork. It delivers medical grade air throughout your home without contributing any additional sound over your existing HVAC system.” ~ Excerpted from iqair.com.
Media Filters – We recommend Aprilaire’s media option for lower maintenance and increased lifespan of your system.
H.R.V. – moves stale air from areas with little air flow. As a bonus, they circulate air more regularly into commonly used spaces. They work by pre-cooling air before it enters your air conditioning system. These units require regular maintenance and filter changes.

E.R.V. – Similar to H.R.V., with the added benefit of humidity control. System reduces humidity during summer months and help to increase humidity in the winter. These units require regular maintenance and filter changes.
Ultraviolet Lighting – Another level of protection for your air. Ultraviolet light destroys airborne viruses, bacteria, mold, and mildew. Lights are mounted inside ducts and out of view. U.V. lighting should be used alongside a high-quality air purification system, such as the I.Q Air, which is rated a Perfect Merv 16 rating, the highest possible. This system may reduce allergies, dry skin, and other respiratory issues.
Whole Home Humidifiers – Properly humidified homes may reduce allergies, dry skin, and other respiratory issues. They automatically control humidity levels. Equipment requires regular cleaning to keep it properly functioning.

Radiant Heating and Hydronics – Utilizes a boiler and Geothermal units, which heats water that passes through a heat exchanger and then through distribution piping. The result is uniform heating, less maintenance, reduced noise, lack of air drafts, and is non – allergenic. Radiant is considered the most comfortable way to heat your home. If air conditioning or Indoor Air Quality Products are desired this would require a second system.
